If you stitch 16-bit-per-color images and then save as a QTVR (.MOV)
file, some parts of the image may be missing (black) or may be shown with
incorrect colors. To check whether you are using 16-bit-per-color
images , look at the Project properties dialog box (File menu) and
see whether Use 45-bit pixels is selected.
One workaround is to use 8-bit-per-color images.
Open the Project properties dialog box (File menu) and deselect the
Use 45-bit pixels checkbox.
If you need to use 16-bit-per-color images, you may install the
following patch.
We have prepared a patch for The Panorama
Factory V5.0 that corrects this problem.

To install the patch, either:
Select the "Open" button on the File
Download dialog box (Internet Explorer) to run the setup automatically
after the download finishes;
or:
Save the patch file to your computer and
then double-click it from Windows Explorer.

- If the patch disk image does not open
automatically in Finder, locate the downloaded file with Finder and
double-click it to open it.
- In Finder, you should see a window with
some instructions and the icon for a file with a name similar to
Do_Patch_0000.term.
- Double-click the Do_Patch icon to install
the patch.
- A Terminal window opens and displays
messages about the patch installation.
- If all goes well, the messages in the
Terminal window will tell you that the patch is complete.
- Close the Terminal window and eject the
disk image.
