Translating into other languages

The Panorama Factory V5 is designed for language localization.  This means that the user interface will be able to display in your preferred language.

All buttons, menus, messages and other program text can be localized by creating a file containing the translated text for each of the program strings.

If you are interested in creating or helping with the string table for your own local language, please follow these steps:

  1. Please visit the Language localization projects section of The Panorama Factory Forum to see whether there is already a project for your language.  If there is already a project for your language, we would welcome your help.

If there is a forum section for your language, please add a message offering to help with the work.  To post a message in the forum, you will need to create an account for yourself at The Panorama Factory forum.

After you create your account, go to the forum and click the Profile link at the top of the page.  I recommend you select automatic "email notification" so that you will receive an email whenever someone posts to the forum.

  1. If there isn't already a project for your language, we would be happy to start a new project.  Please send a message to support@panoramafactory.com so that we can create a new section of The Panorama Factory Forum for your language.

To start working on your language translation, please read the Language localization instructions. These web pages explain how to create and test your string table.

Thank you for your help in translating The Panorama Factory.  We are excited about being able to offer The Panorama Factory in different languages and it will be wonderful to have your help!
