Test sequence to view all dialog boxes
Use this page for instructions on displaying all of the dialog boxes and
all variations of labeling on the panels.
Start The Panorama Factory application. If the first Wizard panel
appears, cancel it.
- About The Panorama Factory. Select About The
Panorama factory from the Help menu.
- Import images. Select Import images... from
the File menu. Import two images. Make sure the images
are the same size. It's a good idea to use an overlapping pair.
But you can simply import any two non-overlapping if you wish (or the same
image twice), but your stitched image will be very strange if you do this.
We'll use these two images for the remainder of the test.
- Alignment properties. Click
on the toolbar or
select Alignment properties from the Tools menu.
- Array of images. Double-click any image and then
select Array from the New image menu.
- Blending properties. Click
on the toolbar or
select Blending properties from the Tools menu.
- Camera properties. Click
on the toolbar or
select Camera properties from the Tools menu. Choose
all values for Camera type in order to see all the variations of
this dialog box.. The controls on the panel and the message
displayed under the illustration of a camera will change as you change the
camera type
- Color tool. Run the Project
properties dialog box (File menu). Select Use 45-bit
pixels and then click OK. Click
on the toolbar or select
Color tool from the Tools menu.
- Correct barrel distortion. Double-click any image and then
select Correct barrel distortion from the New image menu.
- Correct brightness falloff. Double-click any image and then
select Correct brightness falloff from the New image menu.
- Crop image. Double-click one of the
imported images and then click
on the toolbar or select
Crop from the New image menu.
- Filter control. Double-click one of
the imported images. Then click
on the toolbar or select
Enhance from the New image menu.
- Fine tuning properties. Click
on the toolbar or
select Fine tuning properties from the Tools menu.
- Histogram. There are two variations
of the Histogram panel. Controls at the bottom of the panel
will change for the two variations.
- Run the Project properties dialog box (File menu).
Select Use 45-bit pixels and then click OK. Click
on the toolbar or
select Histogram from the Tools menu. Click
Cancel.
- Run the Project properties dialog box (File menu).
De-select Use 45-bit pixels and then click OK. Click
on the toolbar or
select Histogram from the Tools menu.
- Hotspot properties. Double-click one
of the imported images. Click
on the toolbar or select
Hotspots from the Image menu.
- Image properties. Double-click
one of the imported images and then select
Properties from the Image menu or right-click the current image
or any thumbnail and select Properties from the context menu.
- License and Registration information.
There are three variations of this dialog box. Most of the
controls will change for each of the three variations.
- Select License and Registration from the Help menu.
If you have previously entered a valid registration key, you will see
Thank you for purchasing The Panorama Factory at the top of the
dialog box.
- Add any character to the end of your valid registration key (this
will make it invalid). Click Save registration information
and very quickly Select License and Registration from the Help
menu again. You will see Checking registration...
displayed at the top of the dialog box.
- Wait approximately 5 seconds. The dialog box will change to
display Thank you for trying The Panorama Factory at the top.
- Remove the extra character you typed at the end of your registration
key so that it with will be recognized as valid again. Click Save registration information.
You should see a message box saying
Thank you for purchasing The Panorama Factory.
- Notes for %1 image. Select Notes from the
Image menu or right-click the current image or any thumbnail and
select Notes from the context menu.
- Overlap region. You must stitch a panorama before
you can see this dialog. Make sure you have at least two imported
images and they are the same size. Click
on the toolbar or select
Stitch from the New image menu to stitch the pair of
images. When the stitched image appears, double-click one of the
edges of a red box indicating an overlap region. There are 4
variations of the Overlap region dialog box. You can see the
variations by selecting each one of the Overlap tasks. Most controls
on the dialog will change when you change tasks. When you are done,
click Close.
- Panoramic image properties.
Double-click one of the imported images and then select
Panoramic properties from the Image menu or right-click the current image
or any thumbnail and select
Panoramic properties from the context menu.
- Profile organizer. Select Profile
organizer from the File menu.
- Project notes. Select Project
notes from the File menu.
- Project properties. Select
Project properties from the File menu.
- Page setup. Select Page setup
from the File menu.
- Resize image. Double-click any
image. Click on the
toolbar or select Resize from the New image menu.
- Rotate image. Double-click any image
and then select Rotate from the New image menu.
- Save Image As. Double-click any image.
Select Save current image as....
- Save settings to a profile. Click
on the toolbar or
select Alignment properties from the Tools menu (or use any
other tool dialog). Click Save settings to a profile....
- Sharpen image. Double-click one of
the imported images. Then click
on the toolbar or select
Sharpen from the New image menu.
- Trim imported image. Double-click on of the
imported images.
- Trimming properties. Click
on the toolbar or
select Trimming properties from the Tools menu.
- Timing. Select Timers from the Tools
menu.
The remainder of the dialog boxes are reached from the Save Image As
dialog box. Double-clicking any image. Then select Save
current image as....
- Thumbnail index properties. Select Insert
thumbnail into index page and then click Create new thumbnail
index....
- IVR settings. Select IVR from the
Save as type dropdown. Then click IVR settings....
- PTViewer settings. Select
PTViewer from the Save as type dropdown. Then
click PTViewer settings....
- QTVR settings. Select QTVR
from the Save as type dropdown. Then click QTVR
settings....
- JPEG settings. Select JPEG
from the Save as type dropdown. Then click JPEG
settings....
- TIFF settings. Select TIFF
from the Save as type dropdown. Then click TIFF
settings....
- PNG settings. Select PNG
from the Save as type dropdown. Then click PNG
settings....
- PSD settings. Select PSD
from the Save as type dropdown. Then click PSD settings....
- Top and bottom caps. Select
PTViewer from the Save as type dropdown. Then
click PTViewer settings.... Then click Settings...
in the Top and bottom caps group box.
