Extended characters are exported incorrectly to PTViewer

Description

Certain extended characters are exported incorrectly to PTViewer when used in hotspot names, in the popup text string or in the name of the JPG file.  For example, the German characters ö, ü, ä, Ö, Ü, Ä and ß will display incorrectly when exported to PTViewer.
