Nikon View cannot read JPEG files

Description
The Nikon View application supplied with some Nikon digital cameras is
unable to read JPEG files written by The Panorama Factory.
The problem appears to be that Nikon View does not properly process
"application-specific APP0 marker segments", which are optional parts of
the JFIF header. Apparently the presence of this APP0 marker causes
Nikon View to consider the file unsupported.
Workaround
This problem was corrected in V3.3. If you have already purchased
V3.0, V3.1 or V3.2, you may download and install the latest V3.x without
without additional fees.
As a workaround if you are running a previous version of The Panorama
Factory, you may save images as TIFF files if you want to
be able to read them with Nikon View.
