The Improve quality command is disabled  for 24-bit images

1.0 - 1.4.

Description

The Improve quality command is unavailable when working from 24-bit images.  It is available only for 45-bit images.  Since many folks work from 24-bit images, it seems like it should be available for both.

Workaround

Select Use 45-bit pixels in the Project properties dialog (File menu).

Status

Fixed in V1.5.
