Abnormal termination importing a PTViewer panorama

Description

Attempting to import a PTViewer panorama produces an abnormal termination of The Panorama Factory with this message:

Unhandled exception in PFactory.exe (PFCORE.DLL): 0xC0000005: Access Violation.

Workaround

Import the image as JPG, not PTViewer.
