Shift-click doesn't always work right in the thumbnail view

Description

Shift-click is supposed to extend the selection from the first image clicked. It doesn't work right under these circumstances:

1. After moving an image.
2. After creating a new image (e.g. resize tool, etc.).

Workaround

Single-click on the image (without shift) to select it.  Shift-click will now work correctly.
