Before editing any strings, you should update the file header using the Header dialog box (the File menu).

Update the file header comment with a description of your language, acknowledgements and any other descriptive information you feel appropriate.  Update Report bugs to, Last translator NAME <EMAIL> and Language team NAME <EMAIL>.  We recommend omitting the email address because it will be included in the .mo file.  Including an email address in any published file is an invitation to receive spam.

Project name and version, POT creation date, PO revision date, Charset and Plural forms should remain unchanged.

Format string validation should be set to c-format and pf-format.

If you are using wxstd.po, enter “wxstd.po” in for Take standard strings from .po file.  Otherwise it should be blank.
