If you use special characters in the exported file names (JPG and IVR),
the IVR viewer may display the message:
Could not load the flashpix image
This will occur if you use spaces in the file name or extended
characters such as the German characters ö, ü, ä, Ö,
Ü, Ä and ß.
Unfortunately, it does not appear to be possible to correct this
problem. The IVR viewer (a product of a different company) does not
seem to accept these characters in the JPG file name, regardless of
whether they are encoded with URL encoding (e.g.
%fc for ü), encoded with HTML
entity encoding (e.g. ü for
ü) or left unencoded.
Avoid using special characters in your
file names. You should be safe as long as you stick with
A to
Z,
a to
z,
0 to
9 and
-$_.+!()&,;=#.
Other characters, especially characters with ASCII codes greater than 127
should be avoided.
It does not appear to be possible to correct this for extended ASCII
characters and can be corrected for spaces only under some circumstances.
The problem with spaces in the file name will be corrected for the Sun
Java 2 virtual machine in V3.4, however even spaces do not seem to be
accepted by some Java virtual machines.
