Hi,
I've been testing Panorama Factory and it's the best one so far that I've used. I've got a "minor" problem though. As I use it in scientific research stitching together Electron Microscope pictures the end result tends to be a bit big usually something like 55000x2500 pixels. I'm wondering if there's a way to chop the image up in for example 10000x2500 size pictures for further processing. When saving it in TIFF it would be great if I could specify that it should write x number of files with the width 10000. |

It would be possible to use the Crop command (New image menu) to manually crop the final image into the number of individual images you require. See Classic step 4 – Crop the stitched image for more information about using the Crop command.
However, we are unable to offer any automated solution for this. A different approach would be to move to the AMD64 platform, which makes working with extremely large images much easier.

I know that Irfanviw is capable of cropping via command line:
i_view32.exe /crop=(x,y,w,h) - crop input image: x-start, y-start, width, height
Maybe you find a solution via this. |
