I tried to create a 360 panorama and succeeded in creating a webpage, but as soon as the browser shows a preview, there is only the empty picture frame giving info "Loading picture ... 100% complete". Strange...

What flavor of panorama? IVR? PTViewer? QTVR?

I too had some interesting issues with PTViewer and it ended up being an issue with my browser and a java issue. Have you tried other browsers?

The message "Loading picture ... x% complete" is displayed by PTViewer as it loads the picture into RAM. When the picture is very large, PTViewer may show the "100% complete" status for a long time before displaying the panorama.

When the "100% complete" message remains displayed forever, this apparently indicates that the image is too large for PTViewer.

It is unfortunate that PTViewer doesn't report an error when the image is too large. It seems that the only way we have to know that this has happened is to wait a long time to see whether the image appears.

I don't know what is the maximum size image that can be displayed by PTViewer. The limit may depend upon what browser you are using and perhaps also upon what version of Windows you are running. For example, on Windows XP with Internet Explorer 6 I am able to display an image with about 10 million pixels (about 10,000 by 1000), but I am unable to display an image with about 20 million pixels (about 14,400 by 1400).

If you encounter this problem, you may need to reduce the size of your image (in pixels). Please note that it is the number of pixels, NOT the size of the JPG file in megabytes that limits the ability of PTViewer to display the image. This is because PTViewer must decompress the image in order to display it.

To control the image size in pixels, you should select "Image width" or "Image height" on Wizard Step 5 and then enter a value for the width or height of the finished picture. The Panorama Factory will scale the width and height proportionally to create the final image.

I hope this helps!

Hello John Strait,
I believe that Image height and width is now in Wizard step 6. I highlighted width, typed in 10,000, and then the stitched image displayed super close up, and not aligned. So I don't think that was the answer in my case. Currently I am getting a ptviewer embedded on a webpage, with 100% displayed with no virtual tour every appearing. Maybe someone has another sugestion. Thanks.
