I have installed v2.4 on Win2KPro. When I launch the app, I get an error dialog... 'Can't start application because files cannot be created in the system temp folder. Please check to be sure this folder exists and has write permission.' My temp directory is not the default. It is customized to x:\ Is there a known problem with Panorama Factory and non-standard temp directories? Is there a known workaround to this problem? I cannot evaluate the product since I cannot launch. |

For some reason, The Panorama Factory does not like to have the temp folder set to a device name without any directory name. Happily, there is a simple workaround. Create a new directory, e.g. Temp, in X: and change your temp directory to be X:\Temp. |

Hi Tonja, We would be happy to send you instructions for downloading V2.4. We make these instructions available through our customer support department but do not publish them on the web site. The current version of The Panorama Factory is V3.4. You purchased a license for V2.4, which is no longer available for download through the web site. Also, your V2.4 Registration Key will not work with V3 because there is a small fee to upgrade from V2 to V3. Please write to support@panoramafactory.com for V2.4 download instructions. You should include your name, email address and Registration Key in the message. If possible, also include the email address that you used when you originally ordered V2.4. I'm happy to hear you're still happy with V2.4 of The Panorama Factory, but I hope one day you'll consider upgrading. :-) |
