Is there a ruff-n-ready guide as to the level of complexity a PC and Hard disc of speed and size x and y can cope with?
ie I don't want to feed in 10 50Mb pictures, wait for five hours and find its all too much for the machine.
Appreciate this cannot be answered, easily, in general terms, and I don't expect specific advice for my kit. But a "typical" example or two would be good. (And, one assumes, the kit is the weakest link, not the software?)
