Hellow. Is there any way to avoid ghosts and overlapping on arched ceilings? This seems to be a costant problem - PF works with horisontal ceiling lines, but if the ceiling line is arched or bent - the resalt is poor. |

Hi Alexander, I don't know any reason that The Panorama Factory should have problems that are specific to particular type of ceiling. Its methods analyze image data wholistically, not by extracting particular image features. Having said that, it is really impossible to diagnose a problem like this without seeing the particular images that are showing the problem. Sometimes stitching problems can be caused by unexpected factors such as camera tilt, image contrast problems, etc. When you have individual problems that this, it's best to contact support@panoramafactory.com for customer support. That way we can request additional information if we need it. I'd suggest you send your images to support@panoramafactory.com or post them here in the forum. In either case, please do not post or send extremely large image files (our servers have file size limits). If your images are extremely large, contact support@panoramafactory.com for instructions on how to send them to us via FTP.

Thanks for a quick reply. Here I attach two fragments of that very panorama which made me ask for help. Well, I don't expect PF to be perfect and do all the job for me, but the ghosts on the final image seem to be too complicated and numerous to be easyly removed manually. |
