I was stitching about 15 images (2500x1920)together though everything went fine, I later discovered that I was really low on storage. Starting from about 2GB free, I ended up with about 832mb after stitching a large image a few times (before saving). My question is does Photostitch save the stitches in some temp folder even before a final image is created or stitched? |

The Panorama Factory stores temporary files on your computer's disk drive during stitching. These temporary files serve two purposes: 1. The Panorama Factory stores intermediate image data in temporary files. Storing inactive image data in disk files improves your ability to create large panoramas. 2. The temporary files can also be used to recover a stitching project if your computer crashes during stitching. You can control the location of the temporary files using the Automatic recovery setting on the Options dialog box (Tools menu). The temporary files are released when you close or save your stitching project. The Panorama Factory does not automatically close one stitching project when you start another one. The first project stays open in its own window, but this window is usually covered by the new one. If you don't need to keep the first stitching project open, it is important to close it before starting another one so that The Panorama Factory can release the temporary files. |
