I have a panorama I built by hand and I want to use Panorama Factory to create a QTVR.
Although previous FAQs have stated this was unsupported, I
1) divided the image ino two strips, with some overlap
2) read them in with no warping
3) stitched and output them as QTVR.
If you would let me proceed with only one image,
I could skip the anoying step (1). Any way around this ? |

Very clever workaround! Thanks for the suggestion.
Unfortunately, there is no way around this for now. However, a future version of The Panorama Factory will support the ability to import panoramas in one format and then save them in a different format. |

Unfortunately this didn't really work.
The software cropped out most of the resulting image, leaving only about one quarter of it. It also chopped off some of the top and bottom.
It seems like there should be some way around this, but I can't figure one out.
What do people who have images from an actual panorama camera do ? |

When you stitch images that have already been stitched once, you need to disable the image warping.
You are correct that this is the same thing you need to do for stitching images from certain types of panoramic cameras.
To disable the image warping you must select Swing lens or rotational camera on Wizard Step 2 or on the Camera properties dialog (Tools menu). |
