Hi!

I'm a Newbie in Stitching and Panorama-Pictures. Actually I'm working on a pretty large Panorama with a Lake in the foreground. On one of my Source-Pictures is a small Boat crossing the Lake. On the next Picture it's away. Unfortunately this Boat is exactly at the overlapping region.

My Question: I like to KEEP that Boat (actually it appears as a Ghost in my Panorama). How can I keep it as it appears in the original?!

THX in advance.

If the overlapping region is large enough, you may be able to adjust the boundaries of the blending region to move the blend to the left or right of the boat. See the section "Adjust blending region boundaries" of Classic step 3 - Fine tune the stitched image to learn how to do this.

If the overlapping region is very small, you may need to experiment with different positions for the boundaries of the blending region. And, in some extreme cases, it may be impossible to correct this type of ghosting.

Alternately, you could edit the picture after stitching. Select and copy the boat from the original picture, then paste it into the panorama (ideally in a new layer) and smooth out the edges there.
