Version 1.6 Windows 98 SE Mode 45 bit Source files - Olympus E-10 digicam After 'Stitching' I attempted a 'Fine tune'. The process appeared normal, but, after blending, no new file was created. I must admit, I only did this out of habit. The initial stitch of this pano is quite flawless. Is this because it could find nothing to improve? I had a similar result was trying the 'Improve Quality' after trimming. Thanks, |

Neither the Fine tune command nor the Improve quality command is intended to create a new image -- instead, they modify an existing image. The Improve Quality command recalculates the image -- you should see a Q+ appear above the thumbnail indicating it has been recalculated in a single image generation. See Improving the quality of multi-generation images. The Fine tune command makes local adjustments in the overlap regions of an existing panorama in an attempt to remove the ghosts. See the help page Fine tune command . Both commands update an existing image, hopefully for the better. |
