I noticed the program will only create a proper 360 degree image if I rearrange the pictures in the program backwards from the order they were shot with my camera. If I import them in the order I took them with my camera the final result is terrible IF and ONLY IF I take the photos with the camera orientated perpendicular to the ground (tall shots instead of standard wide shots). I don’t understand how the arrangement matters as long as the pictures in-between the first and last picture are in the correct sequence. I have tried taking the pictures of the landscape I am trying to create a 360 photo of in both counterclockwise and clockwise motions on my tripod. None the less I have to reverse the order in the program regardless.
When I take the photos in a counterclockwise motion the result is the same as if reverse the order of the pictures in the program taken in a clockwise motion. Yet the program will only create a correct image if they are in reverse order.
So why is the program requiring this and why does the program ONLY require it when I am taking tall shot photos (camera orientated perpendicular to the ground so the picture is taller than it is wide)

Easy solution is to use the rotate right (or left) 90 and then use the reverse order button. Both of these are on the first screen of the wizard. Once you do this your problem should be solved.
Not sure why you have the same regardless of the order, I take mine generally in a clockwise motion with the with the focal plane being horizontal rather than vertical and they open the way I am expecting.

Well I correctly orientated the pictures using Windows XP's flip tool in the picture preview window so they are already orientated correctly when I load them into the program. |

I did a quick test just to check, and if you use the rotate option it will remember your selection for the next set of images. That means that manually rotating them into PF when the auto rotate feature is turned on that your images will rotate back, defeating the work you did outside.
I have tried to stay away from using XP to manipulate my images because it says that this will permanently change the image. I don't know how much of an impact that will have with quality, etc. so I only use those type of features on copies of the image.
