I'm using the Panorama Factory for Mac, version 5.0.2686, on a Mac Pro. When I try to create a 360 degree QTVR panorama, everything goes fine until I try to save the final QTVR .mov file. Then I get this error message: --------- "Could not write /Users/dks/Pictures/Panoramas/2007/UCSC-Oakes/Above-1/Pano1.mov (Cross-device link). Is the disk full or write protected? Or is the file open in another application?" --------- The "Cross-device link" part makes me think it has something to do with the fact that that /Users is a separate partition, mounted from a 2-disk RAID array (here's its line in the /etc/fstab file: LABEL=Users /Users hfs rw 1 2 ). When I try to save the .mov file into a folder somewhere on "/", I don't get the problem. Note that my work directory is on this partition, meaning PF has no problem saving project files, temporary files, etc. to this partition. It also has no problem saving final JPEG, TIFF, etc. files (for non-360 degree panoramas). It's just QTVR files that have the issue.
