I'm about to install version 4.5, upgrading from 3.4. Do I have to uninstall the old version first, or does the installation procedure look after that? johngie |

The V4.x installer does not remove V3.x. In fact, it's possible to keep both installed on your system without significant problems. It works this way to enable "try before you buy" on the upgrade. You can remove V3.x either before or after installing V4.x. It's your choice. You should know, however, that once a project file (.PFP) has been saved in V4 format it cannot be opened by V3. So if you decide to keep both versions on your system, you should copy any stitching projects that you want to be able to open in both V3 and V4. Copy all files, .PFP and image files to another folder.
