The article Initial viewpoint and zoom for QTVR describes the parameters for controlling the initial zoom factor from HTML code. Starting in V4.0 of The Panorama Factory, you can set the initial viewpoint and zoom from inside the application by creating a hotspot that represents the initial view and selecting This hotspot is the default view on the Hotspot properties dialog box. |

Reading this, I just started setting the initial viewpoint from within PFP for PTviewer. But I don't see where you can set the intitial zoom from within PFP, or to permanently change the default zoom of 70 degrees. Please advise as I would like to avoid adding the document.writeln(' <param>'); and <param> to the html, as it adds another step to the workflow. Thanks! The initial zoom is also controlled by the initial view hotspot. The size of the hotspot determines the initial zoom setting. The initial zoom is set so the the entire hotspot just fits within the viewer. This means that making the hotspot smaller increases the zoom and making it larger decreases the zoom. It is important to know that if you select Set tilt angle to zero, the zoom may be automatically decreased to fit the entire hotspot into the viewer. So if you want complete control, you must turn this option off. I hope this helps! |
