Not sure where to start on this problem; Apple, MS, or maybe even here.
Although downloaded QTVR files would open automatically in Internet Explorer 6, when I try the same file in IE 7, I get the following error message: Line 1, Character 1 Error: object expected, and Line 2 Character 1 invalid character. QuickTime is up to date, version 7.1.
Here's a page with a link to a file that plays in IE6, but not on my IE 7 installation using XP SP2.

When I looked at your link you are just referencing the mov file. When I tried to play it in IE 7, it would not play. I downloaded the MOV file and then wrapped an HTML page around it and was able to play it in IE 7 with no problems. Please take a look at the "Save Final Image" option, you can specify to build a web page.
Have people link to that page (not directly to the MOV file) and it should resolve your problem. Also, you can have it do other things (i.e. auto rotate). There are lots of examples on this site and I have some on mine (www.panoramashots.com) as well.

Just have to figure out what I'm doing wrong in the build web page dialog. Probably something simple. :-)

Here are some quick step by steps that should do a basic image, then you can branch out from there:
On step "Save & print your panorama"
1. Click on "Save final image"
2. Set "Save as type" to QTVR (*.mov)
3. Set the QTVR settings for the quality and level you want.
4. In the "Web page" section, choose "Create new web page from template"
5. Enter a name for the page (i.e. "test")
6. Select Template type of "simple" this is the easiest
7. "Click on Title & description"
8. Enter information about the image
9. Enter a name for the MOV file.
10. Click on Save"
That should work in i.e. 7. Let me know if you have questions,

Hi David,
I have been able to get your script to successfully work in IE. However, Firefox shows all of the panoramas to be very short in height - have you encountered this or know of a workaround for Firefox?
