I am trying to install V 4.4, and the installer wants to remove v4.3 first. However, the uninstall fails. If I go to start/programs.SmokyCityDesign, V4.3 is there but with no uninstall option. Further, start/control/panel/add & remove programs shows no entry for the software. HELP |

I'm sorry you're having trouble installing the upgrade. Most upgrades go smoothly (I know this is small consolation to you), but occasionally there is something unexpected in a particular computer configuration that interferes with the upgrade. I need more information about your configuration to help me figure out what's going wrong with the install. Please follow the directions at http://www.panoramafactory.com/pfinfo.html.
IMPORTANT: Because the pfinfo report contains information specific to your computer system, do not post it to this forum. Instead, please send the file by email to support@panoramafactory.com.
Once I receive the results, I should be able determine why the upgrade thinks V4.3 is still installed on your computer. I should be able to give you specific directions that will sort things out. |
