I'm using a Nikon D-100, Sigma 10-20MM EX lens for Digital (at the 10mm setting), Manfrotto 3047 tripod head, and a Manfrotto 3011 tripod. After taking images around 360 degrees of a room in my home, importing them into Panorama Factory, and using all of the recommended default settings of the wizard, some of the images bulge inward toward the viewer. The images have been overlapped by 50% or more, and only the exposure has been changed from image to image. I've read the users guide, and tried the suggested fixes, but no help. I've checked tripod level, and using a hot shoe spirit level, I've verified the level of the camera. Can you suggest a way to solve this? Since my camera (When on the head for portrait mode) doesn't travel directly over the center column, can/is this the problem?

As long as your image is less than about 140 degrees wide, you can produce an image with conventional perspective (straight lines) by choosing the Perspective projection option on the Select panorama type step of the Wizard or selecting the Perspective cropping option on the Crop image dialog box.

Refer to the FAQ article Why do straight lines get turned into curves for more information about why panoramic images show this type of curvature.
