I can use your program to create a 360 panorama - but I can't get it to view correctly on another machine without installing your program again. Is there a better way? What if I want to email a 360 panorama image? |

To view a VR image on another machine you must install the correct viewer on that machine. MOV or IVR files require a free browser plug-in available from Apple (MOV) or MGI Software (IVR).
Although MicroSoft MediaPlayer can display MOV files, it is not adequate for viewing VR files. If MediaPlayer is set as the default player for MOV files, it will play VR files them as though they are ordinary movies.
If MediaPlayer is the default player for MOV files on your computer I can suggest some possible solutions:
1. You can run QuickTime and then open the MOV file from inside QuickTime.
2. You can set QuickTime as the default player for MOV files by following these steps:- Run QuickTime.
- Choose Edit->Preferences->Connection Speed (yes, that's correct).
- Select File Type Associations from the drop down menu.
- Make sure Macintosh File Types is checked. If it is already checked, try unchecking and rechecking it.
3. If 2 doesn't work, perhaps you don't have QuickTime Internet Extras installed. Use the QuickTime Updater (in the Windows Start menu under QuickTime) to check and update if necessary. |
