Hi, I have version 2.4. Okay to install new ver over top of, or better to uninstall and do a clean install?

Either method will work.

It's marginally better to install V3 on top of V2 because you will not lose any customizations you have made, e.g. recent Wizard settings and user-defined tool profiles.

However, many people make few of these customizations, so it may not make a difference to you.
