Hello,

I'm sorry, my enlisch is not so fine. I'm from Germany, Black Forest. I hope you will unterstand, what I mean.

I find the program "The panorama Factory" very very good! I never seen something like this.

But I have a small problem and hope you can help me. Befor I read many FAQ's and tipps, but I never read soething about the Problem.

Well, I made a 360° panorama. Look here please:
--Image no longer available--

Do you see the white thing's at the top?

So, this is the Problem. After I created the panorama I would cut it. But then I noticed that this isn't possible to cut a panorama and then save it as an *.mov File (QuickTime).

What can I make, in order to solve the problem?

I hope you can understand, what I mean. Are there any possibilities?

Thank you.

Hi Johannes,

Your English is very good -- there's no need to apologize for it!

The default cropping in The Panorama Factory normally removes the ragged edge at the top and bottom of the stitched panorama. Sometimes a small amount of white space remains at the top or bottom if your pictures have some variation in vertical alignment. I've looked at your panorama and I think this may be what happened. The best way to avoid this in the future is to use a tripod when you take your pictures.

Fortunately, there is a way to fix this for your existing panorama. But you must adjust the automatic cropping, not create a new cropping of the image. The procedure for doing this is explained in the FAQ Cant crop a QTVR.

I hope this helps!

Thank you for your answer.

ok. the best would be, I buy a tripod.

But I do not understand how to crop it. Step 1 - 3 I understand. OK Then crop it, whit the tool and the red corner's? But I don't know what I should cut/crop. Am I to cut off something from above or down?

-------------------
1. After stitching with the Wizard, click the Done button. ->OK

2. Find the "Cropped" image in the list of thumbnails at the top of The Panorama Factory's window. ->OK

3. Right-click the Cropped image and select "Show source" from the popup menu. ->OK

4. Adjust the red cropping rectangle using the techniques described in Crop command. When the red cropping rectangle looks right, click the Approve button.

5. Double-click the Final image to make it the current image and save it using the Save QTVR panorama command (File menu). ->OK
