When taking photographies with a handheld camera sometimes it is tilted a bit between photos. However, in most of cases panorama factory aligns properly the photos in the vertical direction, but sometimes it doesn't want. In this cases I've found it helpfull to change the setting of the "low res size" in the alignment properties box. By setting it from 64 (default value) to 32 the alignment between photos performs well ! Roland, Strasbourg, France |

When creating a panorama, straight lines, for example a street, becomes curved, particularily those close to the camera. The camera is mounted perfectly leveled, still this always happens when using the Panoramafactory software. Anyone knows how to resolve this problem ? |

As long as your image is less than about 140 degrees wide, you can produce an image with conventional perspective (straight lines) by choosing the Perspective projection option on the Select panorama type step of the Wizard or selecting the Perspective cropping option on the Crop image dialog box. Refer to the FAQ article Why do straight lines get turned into curves for more information about why panoramic images exhibit this type of curvature.
