Hi guys, sorry to bother you with my problem, I've been having a look around using the search for a while but couldn't find an answer to my problem... so here's my problem : When trying to save my PTViewer panorama, it prompts me for a webpage template that I don't have. Where can I find such a template? Also, I have downloaded the PTViewerME - Panorama Viewer for PDA and Mobile Devices from this address: http://webuser.fh-furtwangen.de/~dersch/ because I couldn't find the regular Java Applet and Application hyperlink. Will it work or do I have to download the right version of this file (PTViewer.jar)? thanks for this great software and for your help. |

You need a web page template for PTViewer because it is a Java applet that must be embedded in a web page. The Panorama Factory installation includes several web page templates that you can select from the dropdown menu on the Save Image As dialog box. The templates are:
Default preview page PF gallery page Simple page You may use any of these templates with PTViewer. You wrote that you don't have the web page template. I don't know why these templates would be missing from your computer if you installed The Panorama Factory normally. I recommend you try reinstalling The Panorama Factory. Be sure to select either Full install or the Web page templates option under Custom install. If you want to, you can create your own web page templates. Please refer to Making your own templates for more information. I do not have any experience with the PTViewerME (Panorama Viewer for PDA and Mobile Devices). However, I do not expect that this viewer will work properly in a web page because it seems to be designed specifically for use on PDAs, not web pages. We currently recommend PTViewer version 2.7L2 which is available from Fulvio Senore at http://www.fsoft.it/panorama/ptviewer.htm. (Message edited by jstrait on February 25, 2005) |
