Should I sharpen the images in Photoshop before running through PF, or leave them as is and try to sharpen the finished pano? |

Although sharpening makes images look better to the eye, it can actually remove information from the images. So it is generally better to do image enhancements like sharpening as the final step. The Panorama Factory's Enhance command (New image menu) can perform a simple type of sharpening. If you use the Wizard, a small amount of sharpening is automatically applied to create the Final image. Photoshop's Unsharp Masking is a more sophisticated sharpening function than the one provided in The Panorama Factory. A future version of The Panorama Factory may include an unsharp masking function. |
