Does Panorama Factory have a maximum size for stitching? For example if I want to scan a 4x5 transparency in two pieces then stitch them, I might have two 400mb files. I do have 2gb of ram, so would there be a limitation with this scenario? |

See Trouble report 70 -- Out of memory when stitching large images for information about image size limits in The Panorama Factory. As you will read, the image size limit is somewhat dependent upon the version of Windows you use. I believe that Windows XP has the same limitations as Windows NT and 2000. Also, you may need to increase the size of your Windows swap file if you are using Windows NT, 2000 or XP. For large projects you may need to set this as large as 2 or 3 GB (1000 or 2000 MB). |
