I've got PF 5.3 but have used PF many times in the past with previous versions, never had a problem. Now when I use the wizard for the first time, I import, my images are in the right order (left to right). After processing and viewing the image, PF has moved the first image to the end, and as well a vertical tower is on a big angle. And it does this repeatedly.

I'm just guessing, but it sounds like you may have selected "360 degree panorama" on Wizard Step 5 for a panorama that is only a partial panorama.". If you do this, it tries to link the left and right ends of the panorama together into a ring. But if it's a partial panorama, this can produce wierd results. Try choosing "Partial panorama" and see if that fixes it.
