I can successfully use the PFBatch_64.exe with the exception it puts the trial watermark in the final, cropped jpg image. I have the latest registered version and the normal GUI works fine on the same machine without watermarking the final image. BAT file: CD "C:\Program Files (x86)\Smoky City Design\The Panorama Factory V5\temp" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Smoky City Design\The Panorama Factory V5\PFBatch_64.exe" pfp.pfp *.jpg -w:result.jpg |

Randall - I have been using the 64 bit batch file verson for several years and have not seen this issue. (Perhaps John knows) I can not think of a reason why the batch file would make a difference, but as a suggestion have you tried the batch file program that I wrote to make the batch file for you. It will allow you to automate the process and ensure that you have the right paramaters. The program is free and you can find it here: http://www.panoramashots.com/wizard/ If you have any questions, just let me know, David |

Thanks for the response. I need to write my own solution because I have some custom requirements for our business. It does the same watermark with 32 bit version also. Just to confirm. I use the auto wizard in the 64bit PF GUI program. After the wizard I save as a PFP file. When using the batch exe, if I use this PFP file it will error and BAT file has fatal exception error. Inside this myProject.PFP, which appears to be just a a compressed file, is another file named pfp.pfp. This one works as expected but with a watermark. I am using win server 03- 64 bit. |

Randall - Sounds like there is an issue with how it is picking up the registration information. I use Vista 64, but I don't think that should make a difference. Hopefully John is monitoring the board and can jump in. David |

My Bad, I don't have batch version. I did relize there were even 2 different versions until today. I have version 5 standard now, Is there an upgrade to version 5 batch? I don't see that on your upgrade page. |

Randall - I assume you are asking this of John (he is the owner) I have nothing officially to do with the company and am just a user. I wrote the batch wizard to make it easier for myself because there was too many variables to keep track of. You are going to need to check with John about upgrading from standard to batch. He does not list it on the purchase page: http://www.panoramafactory.com/purchase.html If you do a lot of panorama work off of standardized templates (i.e. using a pano head) this version is well worth it. Good luck! David |

Hi Randall, Thanks for your interest in The Panorama Factory Batch Edition. The price for the upgrade from standard to batch is currently equal to the price difference between the standard and batch editions, so you don't lose anything in the process. The upgrade from standard to batch is used infrequently enough that we don't have an automated ordering option at the web site to verify eligibility for the upgrade. We ask people to write to support@panoramafactory.com, verify their standard Registration Key and then send them a direct order URL. When you purchase the upgrade, you receive a new registration key that works for both the standard and batch versions. Thanks again for your interest and for your positive feedback about The Panorama Factory! John |
