is there any update on the update to the XP64 version. I am eagerly awaiting the upgrade. Is it going to be for sale, as you should be paid for your work, keeping the 64bit version updated. For thoes of us who have upgraded to XP64 the upgrade is needed for up to produce the best panaromas. |

Hi Paul,
I'm working on finishing V4 of the x64 version of The Panorama Factory. This is my number one priority right now. I can't give a specific date, but I hope to release the final (non beta) version "real soon".

At long last, the x64 Edition of The Panorama Factory V4.2 was released on January 3, 2006 along with a multi-threaded 32-bit version, the m32 Edition.
The Panorama Factory x64 Edition runs on the x64 Edition of Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 or Windows Vista. 64-bit processing enables The Panorama Factory to create images that are nearly 1000 times larger than the maximum under Windows XP on a 32-bit processor. This version runs on single- and multi-processor computers, delivering improved stitching speed on multi-processor systems (including multi-core systems) by performing image computations in parallel. The x64 Edition requires a 64-bit processor with the x64 architecture such as AMD Athlon 64, AMD Turion 64, AMD Opteron, Intel Xeon with EM64T or Intel Pentium with EM64T.
The Panorama Factory m32 Edition runs on single- and multi-processor computers, delivering improved stitching speed on multi-processor systems (including multi-core systems) by performing image computations in parallel. The m32 Edition requires Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows Server 2003 or Windows Vista.
The previous edition of The Panorama Factory has been renamed the Legacy Edition. The Legacy Edition runs on all 32-bit Windows platforms starting with Windows 95. It runs on single- and multi-processor computers, but does not take advantage of multiple processors.
You may install any of these editions with the same Registration Key. Please refer to The Panorama Factory Editions for detailed descriptions of the three editions.
