Hello,
I have the Panorama Factory V 4.0 and I can't insert Hotspots because the "Hotspots / Hotspots command (Bild / Image menu)" is disabeled, what can i do that it works?

You use the Hotspots command (Image menu) to add or edit hotspots on the current image.

To begin adding hotspots to an image, open the image by double-clicking its thumbnail. This selects it as the current image and displays it in the lower pane.

When you have an image displayed in the lower pane, the Hotspots command should be enabled.

For more information about how to create and edit hotspots, please read the help page Adding hotspots to your panoramas.

I'm also confused. Where exactly do I double click the image? Is it in the browser when it's being displayed? Is it at the first step when they are single images? (That enlarges the image but still doesn't enable the hotspot command under the image menu.) Thanks for the help!

I'm sorry that my explanation was unclear.

You should add the hotspots inside The Panorama Factory, not in the browser window. You add them to the finished panorama, after stitching, cropping, sharpening, etc. but before saving the image. After you finish the panorama, you should double-click its thumbnail. Then use the Hotspots command to add the hotspots. Finally, save the image that contains the hotspots.

When you save the panorama using the Save current image as... command (File menu), the hotspots are exported along with the image (if the export format supports hotspots). Hotspots are exported only if they were placed on the same image that you are saving. They are not transferred from one image to another. This is why you have to apply them to the finished image.

I hope this helps!

I'm at that last step - 7/7 (right before you save). I haven't saved it yet, still the hotspot won't show up. Right clicking it still doesn't fix the problem. I did have a trial version and then bought it. That couldn't have anything do with it could it?

Thanks for the additional information. I didn't realize you were trying to use the Hotspots command while the Wizard was active.

It turns out that the Hotspots command is not available when the Wizard is active. However, it should be possible to add hotspots in the Wizard steps "Save and print your panorama" and "Learn more about".

This is a problem that we intend to fix in V4.1, which will be released very very soon. V4.1 will be a free update for people who have purchased V4.0.

Until V4.1 is available, as a workaround, just close the Wizard by clicking the Done button before applying hotspots.

Hi there,

I would like to ask a question regarding hotspots.
I've added a hotspot(I named it zone) on my panorama, and I set it to open a URL in a new browser window(I published in java ivr mode). The test page works fine for me, but can I have further control by setting the width and height(like doing it in javascripts) of the browser which open by my hotspot(zone)? If it can be done, where's the area that I need to modify in my code(either html or ivr)?

Thanks
